Hoof It!

Group Trail Ride, Ryder Meadow

This Sunday the livery group was invited to join Darky in a trail ride across her sim, Ryder Meadow.

Thanks to Moonsorrow, ValidusEquis and ChuckMAX for their photos - and of course Darky, for her hospitality, photos and commentary!

Darky and Courageous Spaz eagerly await the arrival of other Trail Riders.
Moonsorrow arrives and quickly tacks up her pony, Glenn. He seems good enough, but unlike Courage, he'll probably need a crop! He's a lazy little thing!

Everyone is here! After much prodding and threatening, we are joined by Feretian and Ruby (Sorrel Horse and Human Rider), ValidusEquis (White horse with human rider) and ChuckMAX and Hadn't Named It.

Woo! We made it up the mountain! Moonsorrow did have to pull the riding crop out, because Glenn did indeed give her trouble XDD.

First Meet 'n' Greet

Today was the first meet and greet for members of the Livery group to get together and meet each other, the staff, and everyone's horses! Although few members of the group were online, we did meet Mandy and her beautiful Arab mare Nova, manager Darky and her stallion Wiggles and gelding Skippy!, Alexandra and her stallion Armani, and manager Rixinshi and her lovely paint, Spooky. We were also joined by Betta and Chuck.

Although the group was small, we all agreed that organised group rides would be great fun. So if you could please let us know when you're usually online (best days and times for you), and if you have any places you love to ride or think would be worth a visit - then perhaps we can put something together!

At the end of the meeting we all had a run round the cross country course. Honorary member Chuck came first with his horse Resolute, with a brilliant time of 2:20, followed closely by Darky and Wiggles with 2:40, and in third Mandy on Nova with 2:44. Well done to everyone, particularly Chuck and Mandy who had never run the course before! We agreed to make up ribbons for future group events, and consider classes for cross country training!
