On Friday at around 10pm Nectaris will be closed for a couple of hours - hopefully this will be early enough not to annoy too many people, but if you're trying to visit and can't, that's why!
I'm doing some filming, and then expanding the paddock so we've more room for games and competitions. Hopefully this won't take too long and normal service will be resumed shortly :) Because changing the paddock means I need to change the layout of the cross country course a little, this month's competition will close on Thursday 26th March, and only practice mode will be available until the April competition starts.

Eqwyrm Rodeo

Congratulations to everyone who came and braved the eqwyrm's wrath at our fantastic rodeo event hosted by Ruby! Throughout the night 10 winners claimed prizes, but there could only be one top score - well done to David, who managed to cling on the longest and for his pains wins his own eqwyrm! (hopefully a better behaved animal than the beast that ate Bart the bull...)

Centaur Avatar Upgrade

I've just updated the centaurs, so any purchased from now on will be the latest version (1.4). If you already have one (or more!) pop down to the barn and pick up your free upgrade. Since both male and female are in the same package now, if you own both in the same colour let me know and I'll refund you the cost of one of them.
New Stuff:
- Male and female included
- Since often the 'wrong' gender will better fit a very tall or short avatar
- New HUD
- Use buttons to toggle hoofbeats, prints and dust (chat commands still work)
- New 'part' AO HUD
- Contains only lower body animations, so can be used in combination with priority 3 animations to pose the upper body
March Cross Country Changes

The March XC is ready to go - this month it's an Average Time competition, so take it steady - there's some great prizes up for grabs!
Now when you enter Competition Mode, you'll see some changes - you'll be asked to enter the name of the rider and the horse. So if you're a human riding a horse, put your own name in and the name of your mount. If you're a horse jumping by yourself, enter 'none' for rider and your own name. You'll see both names on the scoreboard, so if you enter multiple times with different horses you'll know which was which!
Although I've tested this, it's a new system and you know what those can be like! So please, if you have any problems, let me know.
February XC Competition Winners

Congratulations to everyone who battled through the snowdrifts to make it onto this month's scoreboard!
The winner of the February Speed Trial was Saorii with a very impressive time of 01:15.51. Close behind in second was BillyJo with 01:19.70, and in third Findhorn with 01:30.21. Well done guys! Cash and prizes on their way :)
