Do you have a small homely stable for the family nag, or a bustling stud full of prize-winning ponies? Is there a friendly yard you like to visit? Perhaps you're of the four-legged persuasion yourself and have a cozy stall you like to settle down in at night?
We want to hear from you! Starting today, I'll be taking nominations for Featured Stable. Just send us a notecard with a brief description of your stable and a landmark (and pictures if you like!) and it could be the star of its own article! If your stable is chosen for the month, all you need to do is be available for a few questions and let me visit with my camera. This will probably be a monthly event, and may involve prizes, all depending on interest. So get your nominations in!
Here's what you need to do to enter:
- Send a notecard to Erin Talamasca titled 'Featured Stable' and the name of your stable, if it has one. Make sure it contains the following:
- Your name, or the name of the owner if you're nominating someone else's place
- A landmark to the stable
- A brief description - what sort of stable is it, how many horses live there - any interesting details you can think of!
- Whether it's a private or a commercial yard
So get those notecards to me! This is a fantastic opportunity to show off your build, or get some free publicity for your livery yard!
RULES
- You must be a member of the Hoof It group to make a nomination
- The stable must be open to the public - a landmark to it will be included in the article, so be sure you don't mind people exploring!
- The stable must be available for at least a month after it's entered - so no nominating it and then deleting it!
- Private stables and businesses can be nominated
- Stables for riding horses, or homes for pony avatars can be nominated
- The stables don't have to be full of Hoof It horses! It's the place we're interested in, not just the residents!
- If it's not your stable, it won't be featured unless the owner agrees to take part. If prizes are awarded, they will go to both the owner and the person who nominated the stable (unless they're the same person!)
- If you nominate your own stable, you're agreeing to the publication of pictures and information on the Hoof It website and related links from the Hoof It barn. If you're nominating someone else's stable, their permission will be asked if their stable is chosen to be featured
